With Mother’s Day just a week away it is GO TIME y’all! Whether you’re looking for inspiration for what you should ask for, or are shopping for a special mother in your life, I put together some of my favorite items
I focused my attention on four categories: gifts for the mom who leans into her fancy side, for the gardener (or garden enthusiast), for the one who is a certified cat (or dog) lady, and the sporty mamas too.

Fancy Vibes
One of my absolute favorite gifts to give and receive are pajamas. These robes from Lake Pajamas are so soft and cozy- I wear mine all the time. I also love a beautifully made towel and have been a longtime fan of Weezie towels, – these makeup remover towels are so cute.
Another great gift for pampering are these Kate McLeod Body Stones. These stone-shaped moisturizers are waterless concentrates designed to nourish the skin and made with the safest and most gentle ingredients.
Rifle Paper Co. has some beautifulgifts. I’ve chatted about this Florida brand before because I love each and every collection. Something like an embroidered journal, this pretty picture frame, or this luxurious candle all make for special gifts. Use the code Hamlin20 for 20% off!
Some other fun fancy gift ideas that I love include these pretty green and pink champagne glasses, a monogram tote with a special nick name for a thoughtful touch (I love these for the beach or carrying around activities for the girls), and this gorgeous raffia backgammon game. I also personally love a good pair of headphones. I was just gifted the Bose Quiet Comfort headphones and they are worth every bit of the hype!

Gifts for a Gardener
With the weather warming up (for those of us who don’t already live in the tropics) and everyone working on opening their homes for summer, gardening focused gifts may be the way to go. Even if they aren’t one to get their hands dirty, something like these honeybee earrings from Susan Shaw would be loved by anyone! Susan Shaw is one of my favorite jewelry brands. Their price point is incredibly reasonable for their heirloom quality pieces, not to mention they’re made right here in the USA, in Texas!
This bird feeder has been a hit gift in the past and it’s even ranked by the Washington Post as one of the best.
An herb planter tray could be pair it with a pretty pair of clippers. You could upgrade her to a high end pair of gardening gloves, or get a little wild with a niche gardening tool like this bamboo hand rake. And since everyone loves a great coffee table book, there are some beautiful gardening focused ones out there!

Gifts for a Pet Lover
We are pet enthusiasts in our house, and we all know those ladies who are smitten with their furry friends and would get a kick out of these gifts! I love the Gray Malin book that covers darling doggies in iconic, luxury travel destinations. Not to mention this rattan dog house that I can totally see our kitties loving too! It’s so chic, and it’s handwoven!
Print Fresh is a great stop for their whimsical pajama set prints, and they’re size inclusive with options ranging from XXS-4X.
I think perhaps one of my favorite items on this gift guide is this custom illustrated pet portrait from Etsy! The artist hand-paints the portraits with watercolor and gouache paint and then digitally converts them so you can print multiple sizes and copies. Such a special idea that I’m sure any pet owner would love!

Gifts for a Sports Mom
Last but not least, some items for the sporty mama, particulary the more “country club” options like tennis, golf and pickle ball. Whether she spends time on the court or the course, or is a fan of all things preppy, there are tons of great options out there right now. For example, check out these adorable cocktail napkins. There are so many cute designs to choose from! I love them paired with these old-fashioned tennis-themed glasses.
I also think this raffia tennis tote is pretty special and chic! Go overboard with these personalized tennis balls and these cocktail napkins that look like actual tennis courts!
I mentioned before that I love Weezie towels, and these pickleball ones are so fun! Bonus points for pairing them with some new Mark and Graham pickleball paddles for a delightfully fun Mother’s Day gift.
