I’ve been a Talbots fan since high school – yes, you read that right! It’s because so many of their pieces are simply classic, well-made, thoughtfully tailored staples. A summer shopping go-to for a reason, one of which being that they’ve been an industry leader in offering plus-size styles. I feel like they tend to run big, but then again I’d prefer that over running small.

If you’re not from the south, you may not have heard of this staple department store or their private label, Crown and Ivy brand that has lovely plus-size options. It is such a slept-on brand and goes up to a 4X.
Sunshine Tienda – 20% off sitewide
While not a size-inclusive option in the traditional sense, I find many of their XXLs work great for me as a plus size shopper (like this and this). They are especially known for their sarongs and they are thankfully, generously sized and always fit a range of bodies. This one is the biggest workhorse in my closet followed closely by this one. Not to mention their hats are the best with lots of options for big heads like mine!
Anthropologie – Up to 40% off of sale prices
This sale is worth the extra poking around because the savings are steep and there are some solid plus-size options mixed in. To get you started, here’s the short version of the tailored shirt dress I wear a lot in their midi style. This beaded cutie is so insanely marked down and available in 1X-3X. This Daily Practice golf sweater is giving all the vintage vibes and this Daily Practice tennis dress is just $42 and fully stocked in plus sizes.
