Tastemaker Travels Trip 2025: Everything I Wore On Nantucket

May 17, 2025 · In: Other Destinations, Size Inclusive Favorites, Style, Travel, Women

Nantucket: New England’s summer resort and one of the most special places to visit in the US! Last week I packed my bags and left behind the humidity of Florida for the crisp spring air of The Grey Lady, otherwise known as Nantucket. I was invited to participate in a three night retreat with Tastemaker Travels, which in collaboration with the Nantucket Hotel, graciously facilitated our time together with multiple brand activations. Our group of 25 content creators enjoyed the opportunity to connect and collaborate in the most beautiful setting.

I love connecting with other women content creators, and my week on Nantucket was full of relationship building, memories, and all things coastal. I think it’s safe to say that the warmth and connection that defined our time was undoubtedly due to the special setting. I loved every minute of it, and I came home feeling inspired and fulfilled.

I’ll be sharing more about the specifics of our trip in more detail, but I wanted to be sure and organize and easy place to shop my outfits. Below I’m breaking down what I wore, including a new collection launch with Hill House, the Sail to Sable x Palm Beach Lately collaboration and accessory hunting with The Real Real.

Ferry to Nantucket

Even though it’s May and it has felt like summer for a while where we live, Nantucket can still be a bit chilly this time of year – especially on the water. For the ferry ride over to the island, I wore a favorite American Flag sweater from Tuckernuck over a white seersucker dress (a super affordable Target find). I knew we’d be walking a bit an lugging our bags, so I opted for my Dolce Vita sneakers and a trench coat for any light showers we might have encountered. I accessorized with a Jane Win necklace and these adorable fish earrings. I shared this look on my LTK while I was in Nantucket, so you can shop it here.

New Hill House Collection

One of the very first outfits I wore was this new dress from the Hill House summer collection. I’m wearing the Cosima style which I’m thrilled to say is now offered in their full size range of XXS-4XL and comes in other prints too! I paired the dress with these slide sandals, this gorgeous blue sweater from Tuckernuck, and a Colores Collective cane purse.

The Real Real Event at CRU Nantucket Oyster Bar

The Real Real hosted an event for us at the CRU Nantucket Oyster Bar and I am still craving the CRUcumber martinis! Since it was on the water I dressed in layers with this Sail to Sable gold dress paired with a quilted denim jacket. I added my new Hermes scarf from The Real Read as well as these seashell earrings, and these Dolce Vita crochet sling back flats (which I wear all the time!).

Brant Point Walk in Varley

One of the mornings Tastemaker Travels hosted a sip and stroll to the lighthouse in Varley. We grabbed smoothies from The Nantucket Hotel and walked to nearby Brant Point. I wore this short sleeve mini dress and these woven hoop earrings. In collaboration with Anthropologie, Varley offers extended sizes in a few looks and I am in the process of trying their XL and XXL pieces to see how they work for me.

Sail to Sable x Palm Beach Lately Collaboration

One of my favorite events of the trip was the Sail to Sable x Palm Beach Lately collaboration at Slip 14! This collaboration is a perfectly curated collection of coastal styles from an XXS-XXXL, which is the size I most often wear in Sail To Sable. I selected this gorgeous ivory scalloped eyelet midi skirt set, and love the versatility – you can wear it as a matching set or as separates. There are so many pretty details on this matching set. I personally love the scalloped hemline and the eyelet detailing. It’s truly such an elegant piece and I am confident I will wear it for years to come.

I paired this matching set with this gorgeous blue Alice Walk shawl, this pendant and necklace, and these slide sandals.

This collaboration has so many size-inclusive pieces. If you’re looking for more styles, I also love this blue caftan and these blue print shell pajamas.

Oh My Mahjong

If you don’t already play Mahjong, this is your sign to learn! One of the activities that Tastemaker Travels planned for us was an evening with Oh My Mahjong and Dallas Mahjong Club. It’s such a fun game and there are tons of beautiful tile sets to choose from, like this Nantucket set. We played using this pretty Liberty Mat. You can also purchase a starter kit which includes the tiles, the mat, and all the accessories you need. Oh My Mahjong has everything you could possibly need to play like tablecloths, acrylic cups, and more.

Playing Mahjong on Nantucket is obviously a special event, so I wanted to dress up for the occasion. I wore this blue and white Tuckernuck dress and paired it with raffia pointed-toe pumps, this favorite necklace of mine, and a classic cane clutch.

Dudley Stephens. It’s For Now and The Nantucket Historical Society

This truly was a week full of learning! The Nantucket Hotel hosted a luncheon with Dudley Stephens and The Nantucket Historical Society where we learned all about Sailor’s Valentines and how to make them.

If you don’t already know, the Sailor’s Valentine originated around 1830 and sailors brought them home to their loved ones after being at sea. The designs are made out of tiny seashells, usually in very intricate symmetrical designs. We loved this sea-inspired craft, and I was delighted to bring mine home with me.

We were also treated to a customizable charm bar for necklaces by It’s For Now. If you get a chance to shop on Nantucket, their store is a must stop spot, or shop online.

For this lunch and learn I wore this insanely comfortable quilted pullover from Dudley Stephens and paired it with my Sail to Sable scalloped midi skirt. I styled it with a $20 belt (that comes in plus sizes too) slide sandals, and this navy scalloped fleece wrap, also from Dudley Stephens. And in case you’re unfamiliar with this brand (a long time favorite of mine), Dudley Stephens is a female-founded and family-owned brand that designs timeless and classic styles. It’s one of my favorite responsible fashion brands as all of their fabrics are eco-friendly. Use code GRACE15 to save when you order your Dudley Stephens.

Tuckernuck Clam Bake

Is there anything more New England than a clam bake?! We truly had such a blast at this event hosted by Tuckernuck! I went full-on Americana and wore a timeless blue and white striped dress with a classic red American flag sweater. I kept the accessories fun with these slide sandals and fish earrings.

Tuckernuck Tablescape

I would be remiss in sharing about this dinner if I didn’t chat about the tablescape! It was such a beautiful set-up and there wasn’t a single detail that went unnoticed. A few things that really excited me about this tablescape were these rattan woven placemats, these gold clamshell placeholders, the most gorgeous nautilus shell raffia napkin rings, and of course the showstopper which is this lovely blooms tablecloth.

Until Next Time, Nantucket

I know I’ve mentioned it several times throughout this post, but this really was a wonderful trip and I’ve enjoyed sharing some of the events we did and the outfits I wore on Nantucket! If you’re visiting the island or the New England area this summer, hopefully these outfits will give you some idea of what to pack. You can shop all of the items I mentioned in this post and more below! And of course, we can always stay connected through my Instagram, LTK, and Shop My pages!

What do they put in the water in Texas? Possibly t What do they put in the water in Texas? Possibly tequila 😆 but in all seriousness, I lived in Dallas from 2005, to fairly recently when we moved back to Florida in 2018. And even though I'm a born and raised Floridian, so much of my heart feels like Texas is my home. Margaret however is a Texan by birth and she tells everyone who will listen, which seems pretty Texan of her (in the best way).

We're here with the girls this week, seeing our special people, and of course I packed two of my favorite Texas brands, @sunshinetiendashop and @susanshaw that are both lead by stylish and talented women.

You can shop my accessories by following me on @shop.ltk or head to my stories!
