The school year is in full swing and the holiday travel season is right around the corner. So, I thought it would be a great time to share about one of our family’s favorite products – the TRVL backpack. Margaret and Catherine have used these backpacks for over three years and they’re still going strong!

TRVL Backpack
Okay, let’s start with one of our most-used TRVL products, their backpacks! I know there are numerous backpack options on the market. However, the TRVL backpack is hands-down the favorite in our home. The girls have used these for everything from transporting artwork home from school (followed by displaying this treasured artwork) to carrying them along for travel adventures. A friend of mine even gave her child one of these backpacks filled with travel goodies as a part of a surprise trip announcement. She said you’d think they gave him the world with how excited he was! There’s no doubt a TRVL backpack will be put to good use. Plus, it has a ton of great features that make it stand out from the crowd.
Wipeable
First up, it’s wipeable. Sure, you can wipe down any backpack with a cloth, but most of them don’t really get cleaned from a quick wipe. However, the TRVL backpack is made from a water and stain-resistant material that can actually be fully sanitized and disinfected. You can also machine wash it on delicate and hang it up to dry for a deep clean. This is a lifesaver after it has been slung around an airport, not to mention airplane bathrooms!
Durability
I cannot be the only parent who has purchased a backpack only to watch it fall to pieces (literally) before the end of the school year. Let’s face it, kids are not gentle with their bags. They stuff them full of heavy textbooks, leave them in classrooms for others to tamper with, and toss them on the floor when they get home. I’ve learned that investing in a high-quality backpack is absolutely worth it. Our girls have had their TRVL backpacks for three years and guess what, they’re still holding up!
TRVL Backpack: Print Options
Not only is a TRVL backpack wipeable and durable, but it also comes in many cute print options! I’ve grown to believe that choosing a backpack is actually a really important activity for kids. This is especially true for children who wear school uniforms, as Margaret and Catherine do. I’ve found that permitting them to select backpacks, lunch boxes, and accessories that allow them to express themselves can help build their self-confidence. Therefore, the cute print and color options that TRVL Design offers are much appreciated!
Additionally, there are many boutiques and small businesses that partner with this brand to offer endless personalization options. You can get TRVL Design bags customized with your child’s name or monogram. There are also beautiful embroidery design options – rainbow colors, floral fabrics, and little embroidered icons such as cars. I love how easy it is for each child to make these backpacks their own.
TRVL Backpack: Size Options
The standard TRVL backpack is large enough to hold folders, books, and a lunch box in the main compartment. Additionally, it has a full-size front zipper pocket and two side bottle pockets. If you’re looking for a smaller option to store in your vehicle or for younger kids, they also have a mini version. It shares all of the wonderful features of the standard size (wipeable, multiple pockets, etc.), it’s just smaller!

Beyond our beloved TRVL backpacks, this brand has tons of additional products that we own and love. Honestly, it’s impossible for me to choose just one favorite! The thing is, we use so many of these items daily, and if not daily, then they’re products we use every time we travel. Here are some additional contenders for the top spot!
1. Toiletry Bags
Just like TRVL backpacks, their toiletry bags aren’t only pretty, but they’re practical too! From hanging bags to traditional dopp kit style, there’s something for everyone. The mini roll-up hanging bag is a great starter for the littlest Jetsetters. As for myself, I’m smitten with my new Provence print hanging bag. And if you’re on the hunt for a new makeup bag, the luxe zip-around is an excellent option!
2. TRVL Design Roadie Bags
We’re also in the Roadie Bag fan club! These bags are especially useful due to their personalization options. When traveling, you could apply a sun appliqué to denote sunscreen or add a first aid cross to make it clear which bag has the medications. The girls have two that are embroidered with HAIR, which, you guessed it, are for their brushes, hair bands, bows, and other accessories.
3. Lightweight Duffels
The most recent addition to our TRVL collection was their quilted duffel bag. It’s lightweight and easy to clean (are you noticing a pattern here)? It also slips right over a rolling carry-on suitcase, making it great for airport travel. This bag has hidden pockets that make having your day-of travel essentials easy to access. Plus, there is a pop of floral lining on the inside, which is such a pretty touch! You can start your trip with this duffel packed to the brim. Or, because of how lightweight and flexible it is, you can begin with it in your primary suitcase and use it as a backup when you return with too many souvenirs!
4. Packing Squads
If you haven’t converted to packing cubes yet, this is a great opportunity to get on board! They keep us organized while traveling and maximize space in our suitcases. We don’t limit them to just checked bags either – they’re also great for carry-on organization! And when we’re at home, you better believe they’re in our pool bags, sleepover totes, TRVL backpacks during car rides, and more. This is all because they’re so handy for bag-in-bag organization, which is a game changer!
5. TRVL Design Small Bags
Speaking of bag-in-bag organization, you can almost always find some type of small TRVL Design bag stored inside our larger ones. The Roadie and the Carry On were two of my first TRVL purchases for the girls and over the years we’ve accumulated multiple styles of both. These bags work great as a compact option stored inside a TRVL backpack or duffle that is filled with car or plane activities. I also carry them individually to bring inside restaurants or anywhere the girls might need a little distraction!
The TRVL Design round bags are another great option for storing and transporting small treasures. Similar to how we customize the Roadie pouches (designating one for markers, one for Barbies, etc.), the round bags can be personalized to store specific small objects (toy cars, Calico Critters, etc.) Sometimes I give my girls their empty rounds and let them fill the pouches up with whatever they’d like. While the contents are guaranteed to be random, somehow whatever they choose seems to provide hours of entertainment!
