So I put together this landing page to highlight our household’s favorite products. And yes, I say household because at this point every single member of the Hamlin family uses (and loves) multiple Megababe products!
Starting out with #1, the ultimate, the actual MUST HAVE – the Thigh Rescue. Chafing is literally the worst. Wherever it happens, whenever it happens – nothing kills the vibe faster. Whether it’s a day-to-day annoyance for you or an occasional bother, ThighRescue puts a stop to it before it even starts. I wear it most days and never travel without it. It might sound hyperbolic, but jumping on the bandwagon in the early days of the brand’s development was divine intervention for me. The Thigh Rescue doesn’t just fight friction, it fights the toxic and internalized belief that each stinging patch of irritated skin is some kind of moral failing. Having MegaBabe in our arsenal (and mini Thigh Rescues for on-the-go) makes it just another step in our self care. Now all four of us make sure to prep and pack with our own Thigh Rescues.
It wasn’t long before I started using their deodorant. Rosy Pits is my first favorite but since then I’ve added Santal, Sunny Pits, and Coco Deo to my underarm line up. When I first made the switch from my former deodorant, It did take about two weeks for my armpits to adjust to their new routine. I used this charcoal mask to help the process – and use it intermittently when I want a little extra detox – but ever since then I find Megababe’s formulas to be more than enough to keep things fresh. And for non-toxic anti-perspiration, their Bust Dust and Body Dust hits the mark. They even have a formula especially for him, aptly named Ball Deo. Everything is aluminum free and because they’re clean I feel at ease starting my tween with Megababe – she’s also a Rosy Pits girl and occasionally Coco Deo. Not to be left out, her little sister has her own stick – they even have mini’s too!
Along with a mini Rosy Pits, we put together a self care emergency kit for my oldest’s backpack. The Megafresh Wipes are a great addition to that kit – just in case! They are pH balanced and biodegradable, not to mention free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates and fragrance. I personally use them as well and like to have them on hand in my purse, especially for long travel days! They also have a tween kit bundled up and ready to go.
Their Shaving Kit bundle covers all your hair removal bases – an exfoliating bar, a moisturizing shave bar, an aprés shave roll-on solution to prevent in-grown hairs and aprés-shave oil to relieve irritation and ensure silky smooth skin. And I just tried their Quick Shave No Rinse Shave Stick for missed spots and touch ups on the go which for me might have meant a full shave session in the passenger seat because we were running late for something yet again when I realized I was a little too spikey. I was pleasantly surprised – no razor burn or irritation of any kind and I was able to get the job done. But of allllll that, if I had to pick just one product out of the Megababe shaving line up, it’d be the Moisturizing Shave Bar for sure.
It may be at the bottom of the list, but only because that’s exactly what it’s for! Their Hemorrhoidal Ointment boasts the maximum amount of lidocaine allowed in an OTC formula. The phenylephrine that treats swelling and inflammation plus cocoa butter, glycerin and petrolatum to protect from irritation, moisture and friction is a veritable miracle worker.
